Older Adults COVID19 What You Need To Know
I’m a senior citizen and have been watching what is happening around the world and especially here in the United States with this Coronvirus spread. I’m also a type 2 diabetic, so my chances to be infected are much hire than most. the thing is that with all this 24/7 media attention, I think that it has caused many people to panic. I have done some research into the covid19 virus and came up with some information that we seniors should know. I found the following video on the cdc government website.
Of the 970,382 confirmed cases in the USA, it works out to about 3 tenths of a percent of the approximately 3.25 million American residents.
Of that the 54,984 deaths shows an even smaller percentage of our total population have actually died from covid19.
That pretty much tells me that this may be a little overblown. My father always told me “not believe anything I hear and only half of what I see. Do your own research and come to your own conclusions.” His reasoning was that people have their own agendas and will try to convince you to side with them.
To your continuing health, Rich
P.S Like I mentioned above, I’m a type 2 diabetic, you may be interested in the following.
